Equipped with wheels and featuring high-efficiency LED lamps with specially-designed optics to maximise light coverage and brightness, the new CPLT H6LED offers greater luminosity and improved transportability with the goal of reducing overall operational costs. Stockholm, Sweden, August 18, 2016: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, established a fifth business area, Vacuum Technique. The new business area will be operational from January 1, 2017 and have approximately 6 800 employees, including external workforce. The new business area had restated revenues of SEK 10.5 billion (USD 1.2 billion) for the 12 months ended June 30, 2016. In addition, the new business area will include the operations of certain businesses acquired after June 30, 2016, with combined annual revenues of approximately SEK 4 billion (MUSD 475). Atlas Copco South Africa’s Internship Programme is an excellent initiative that provides unemployed learners with a unique opportunity to gain invaluable, hands-on experience in the workplace. First adopted in 2015, the six-week Internship Programme exposes the learners to a functioning business environment by presenting them with a platform to shadow various job functions and roles within our organisation.
